Hello Victoria, I’ve just read about your ‘unguided’ local walk and admire your adventurous spirit. I made it to the HF holiday in Church Stretton and found some hills to climb in good walking weather; you might remember the Stiperstones ridge and the amazing views to Wales. I also went to the Gower with a friend and walked and swam at Rhossilli, just before the lockdown there. I hope you find a suitable flat and can plan some local walks with waterproofs and gaiters, it won’t be the same as Morocco and it is certainly greener and wetter! Good luck Eleanor T.
